01/16/2014: A remote-controlled explosive device detonated at a police checkpost in Sarkol area, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. At least two police officers were wounded as a result of the blast. This was one of three related attacks in Sarkol on this day. The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for this incident.
