Incident Summary:
01/15/2014: A suicide bomber detonated an explosive device at a funeral for a Sahwa Council fighter in Buhruz town, Diyala governorate, Iraq. In addition to the bomber, at least 16 people were killed and 18 were wounded in the attack. This was one of 20 coordinated incidents around Baghdad on January 15, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
