01/13/2014: Assailants opened fire on residents in Pinga village, North Kivu province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Four soldiers and two assailants were killed in the attack, and two soldiers and three civilians were injured. No group claimed responsibility for the incident, but sources attributed it to Mayi Mayi tribe members.
