01/12/2014: Assailants fired rocket-propelled grenades at a military check post in Shihr district, Hadramawt governorate, Yemen. Four soldiers were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, sources noted that the assailants appeared to be a group containing both members of Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) and the Hadramawt Tribes Alliance.
