Incident Summary:

01/11/2014: Assailants attacked park police rangers on foot patrol in Virunga National Park near Goma city, North Kivu province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. One ranger was killed and three assailants were killed and two rangers were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, a source attributed the incident to the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR).
