01/07/2014: Assailants attacked a group of police officers in Edenbari town, Meghalaya state, India. Two police officers were injured in the attack. The Achik National Volunteer Council-B (ANVC-B) claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that they carried out the attack because they suspected that the police officers were rivals disguised as police, since they had refused to produce any documents.
