Incident Summary:

01/02/2014: Assailants attacked a military outpost in Pikit, North Cotabato, Philippines. Nine assailants were killed and at least 13 people, including two soldiers, were wounded in the attack. The Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM) claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that the attack was carried out in retaliation for an incident in which soldiers had harassed Muslim farmers in the area.
