01/00/2014: Sometime between January 1, 2014 and January 31, 2014, assailants abducted a Dutch citizen from Norte de Santander department, Colombia. The hostage was released on February 11, 2015. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the kidnapping to the National Liberation Army of Colombia (ELN).
