Incident Summary:

12/17/2013: Assailants threw a hand grenade at a group of Shia pilgrims in the Mashtal area of Baghdad city, Baghdad governorate, Iraq. At least one pilgrim was killed and 15 others were wounded as a result of the blast. This was one of two similar attacks on Shia pilgrims in Baghdad on this day. No group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
