Incident Summary:

12/02/2013: Assailants opened fire on a military checkpoint in Seiyun city, Hadramawt governorate, Yemen. Three Yemeni soldiers and six attackers were killed in the exchange of gunfire. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
