11/18/2013: Assailants opened fire on police officers near the Balhaf Liquid Natural Gas Plant in Balhaf town, Shabwah governorate, Yemen. At least eight police officers were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources speculated that Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) was involved.
