Incident Summary:

11/10/2013: Assailants abducted coal exporter Janking Marak from his residence in the South Garo Hills district, Meghalaya state, India. He was rescued by the Border Security Force (BSF) on November 13, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, BSF troopers identified Marak's kidnappers as members of the Garo National Liberation Army.
