Incident Summary:

11/05/2013: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on an Iraqi police patrol in Mosul city, Nineveh governorate, Iraq. Three police officers were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) was involved.
