Incident Summary:
10/19/2013: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vest inside a cafe in Beledweyne city, Hiiraan region, Somalia. The cafe was frequented by African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) troops. In addition to the bomber, at least 15 people, including civilians and soldiers, were killed and 33 others were wounded as a result of the blast. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for this attack.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
