10/05/2013: Assailants opened fire on Crisanto Pangara in the Santa Cruz village of Butan city, Agusan del Norte province, Philippines. Pangara, a member of the Citizen Armed Auxiliary (CAA), was wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, authorities attributed the incident to the New People's Army (NPA).
