09/30/2013: Assailants abducted Konstantin Zhuravlev, a Russian blogger and photographer, from Aleppo, Syria. Zhuravlev was released on October 14, 2016. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the kidnapping to Liwa al-Tawhid.
