09/02/2013: Assailants kidnapped Ibrahim Audu from his residence in Alloma village, Ofu district, Kogi state, Nigeria. Audu is the brother of Prince Abubakar Audu, the former Kogi State governor and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Authorities rescued Audu on September 10, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
