08/29/2013: An explosive device attached to a bicycle detonated in Alipurduar, West Bengal, India. The blast occurred while police officers were attempting to defuse the device. One officer was killed, and at least one other officer was injured. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the attack to the Kamtapur Liberation Organization (KLO).

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
