Incident Summary:

08/07/2013: A car bomb detonated outside the home of a police officer in Tikrit city, Saladin governorate, Iraq. The blast killed 12 people and injured 30 people. This was one of two coordinated explosions at this location; this attack targeted a crowd drawn by an earlier blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) was involved.
