07/24/2013: An explosive device detonated at a car dealership in the Athlone area, Cape Town city, Western Cape province, South Africa. There were no reported casualties, however, several vehicles were damaged in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, local witnesses speculated that People Against Gangsterism and Drugs (PAGAD) may have been involved.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
