07/22/2013: Assailants opened fire on a taxi in Quetta city, Balochistan province, Pakistan. At least two civilians were killed in the shooting. Ghazi Haq Nawaz, spokesperson for Jaish-e-Islam, claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that the attack was in retaliation "for the killing of Muslims in [the] Kasi Road area" and that the armed outfit targeted the victims because they were Shia Muslims.
