07/13/2013: Police opened fire on a suicide bomber driving an explosives-laden vehicle in Abara area, Diyala governorate, Iraq. The bomber detonated his explosives, killing at least three police officers and injuring ten other people. Officials believe that the intended target of the attack may have been a nearby funeral. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
