06/17/2013: Assailants hurled a grenade and opened fire at a police team in Rangdapara area, West Garo Hills district, Meghalaya state, India. The grenade failed to detonate and there were no reports of injuries or property damage in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the attack to the Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA).
