Incident Summary:

06/16/2013: Assailants opened fire on police officers guarding an oil pipeline in the Hatra area near Mosul city, Nineveh governorate, Iraq. At least four police officers were killed and another five were injured in the attack. This was one of 19 coordinated attacks around Iraq on June 16th, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspect Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) of the bombing.
