Incident Summary:

06/16/2013: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated in Nasiriyah city, Dhi Qar governorate, Iraq. This was one of two bombings in the city on the same day. At least one person was killed and another 17 people were injured across both attacks. This was one of 19 coordinated attacks around Iraq on June 16th, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspect Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) of the bombing.
