Incident Summary:

06/01/2013: Two gunmen attacked a Yemeni Air Force officer in Seiyun city, Hadramawt province, Yemen. Colonel Yahya Al-Umayssi, who was the commander of the Air Force, was killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities suspect that Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) was involved.
