05/21/2013: A suicide bomber detonated an explosive device at a military checkpoint in Tarmiyah town, Saladin governorate, Iraq. Additional assailants opened fire following the blast. At least three soldiers were killed and another seven people were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
