05/18/2013: Four assailants abducted Casilda Marcos, a medical technologist and wife of a Marine sergeant, in Jolo city, Sulu province, Philippines. The victim was released on September 13, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities suspected that the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) had been involved in the kidnapping.
