Incident Summary:

04/23/2013: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle outside of a Frontiers Corps (FC) checkpoint near Hazara Town in Quetta city, Balochistan province, Pakistan. The attack occurred while the Chair of the Hazara Democratic Party, Khaliq Hazara, was in the area. Seven people, including the assailant, died and 30 people sustained injuries in the attack. Lashkar-e-Jhangvi claimed responsibility for the bombing.
