Incident Summary:

04/18/2013: Three assailants opened fire and threw grenades at the Kwa Chege restaurant and hotel in Garissa city, Garissa state, Kenya. Ten people were killed and eight others were wounded. No group has claimed responsibility; however, government officials attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab who may have executed the attack in response to a government operation against the group in Somalia.
