04/04/2013: Nine gunmen attacked a police patrol at a market in Chainpur village, Gumla district, Jharkhand state, India. Five police officers died in the fighting. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities believed that the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-M) had been involved in the attack.
