Incident Summary:

03/22/2013: Assailants opened fire on the private residence of a Sahwa Council commander in Balad district, Saladin governorate, Iraq. Hassan Musleh and two of his sons were killed in the attack; a third son was injured. In addition, two assailants were killed when the injured son returned fire. No group claimed responsibility for the incident. This was one of two attacks on Sahwah Council members in Iraq on this day.
