Incident Summary:

03/19/2013: A roadside mine detonated targeting the vehicle of police chief Nasir Ahmad in Shindand district, Herat province, Afghanistan. Two people, including Ahmad, were killed and three others were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, the police attributed the incident on the Taliban.
