03/17/2013: A suicide bomber driving an explosives-laden tanker attacked an emergency police center in Tikrit city, Saladin governorate, Iraq. The driver was killed by police; however, the tanker exploded. This was one of two related attacks in Tikrit on this day. Six people were injured across the two attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
