03/07/2013: An explosive device detonated prematurely in a crowded market in Lawdar city, Abyan governorate, Yemen. The perpetrator was setting the device when it exploded, killing him. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, officials attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
