02/20/2013: A roadside bomb detonated, targeting a group of defense volunteers in Yupo, Yala province, Thailand. The volunteers were traveling by motorcycles to escort local teachers to work. Two volunteers were injured. Although no group claimed responsibility for the attack, security officials attributed it to separatists.
