Incident Summary:

02/17/2013: Assailants kidnapped Carl Campeau and 20 United Nations Disengagement Force (UNDOF) Filipino employees in Damascus city, Damascus governorate, Syria. All 20 UNDOF employees were released on February 20, 2013 while Campeau, a Canadian lawyer, escaped from captivity on October 17, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Nusrah Front.
