02/11/2013: An explosive device detonated in a sub-station of the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) in Karachi, Sindh province, Pakistan. One person was injured in the attack and several areas of the station were damaged. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack; however, police attribute it to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack. For example, in a typical successful bombing, the bomb detonates and destroys property and/or kills individuals, whereas an unsuccessful bombing is one in which the bomb is discovered and defused or detonates early and kills the perpetrators. Success is not judged in terms of the larger goals of the perpetrators.
