Incident Summary:
02/10/2013: Perpetrators launched rockets at targets in Quetta city, Balochistan, Pakistan. One rocket landed by the house of Police Constable, Ahmed Jan, near Khuda-e-Dad road. Seven people, including Jan and his wife, were injured in the attack. This was one of three related rocket attacks in Quetta on this day. The United Baloch Army (UBA) claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that it was avenging recent operations in Awaran, Mashkay, and Mastung areas.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
