01/25/2013: Two police officers, Victor Gonzalez and Cristian Ayate, investigating extortion demands were kidnapped in La Granja village, Pradera municipality, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. The police officers were safely released on February 15, 2013. The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) claimed responsibility for the incident.
