01/23/2013: Perpetrators threw at least one grenade at Kakopathar Police Station in Kakopathar, Tinsukia district, Assam state, India. The grenade failed to explode because the safety pin was still on it. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, news sources attributed the attack to the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA).
