Incident Summary:

01/10/2013: Four assailants opened fire on Abdulsalam Zabra's vehicle in Mahfad district, Abyan governorate, Yemen. Zabra, a tribal chief, was killed and two of his guards were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, officials suspect that Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) were involved.
