Incident Summary:

12/31/2012: An explosive device detonated inside the residence of a pro-government militia member in Imam Waysid sub-district, Diyala governorate, Iraq. At least four people were killed in the blast, including the militia member and three family members. This was one of 19 coordinated attacks across the country on the same day. Al-Qaida in Iraq claimed responsibility for the incidents.
