12/17/2012: Assailants opened fire on a vehicle carrying local officials and teachers in Cho Airong district, Narathiwat province, Thailand. Two people were killed and another five were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the attack to separatists.
