12/13/2012: An explosive-laden vehicle detonated outside of a military housing complex and elementary school in Qatana town, Rif Dimashq governorate, Syria. At least 16 people were killed and another 23 were injured in the blast; many of the victims were children. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
