12/05/2012: A mortar shell was fired at the presidential palace in Mogadishu city, Banaadir region, Somalia. Although the palace was the intended target, the mortar struck a civilian family, injuring at least five family members. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab.
