Incident Summary:

11/24/2012: An explosive device hidden in a trash container detonated near a Shia procession in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. At least seven people were killed and another 30 were injured in the blast. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that the government would not be able to stop them from targeting the Shia community.
