Incident Summary:

11/17/2012: Hundreds of armed assailants attacked Suran village in Kachi district, Balochistan province, Pakistan. Three people were shot and killed and at least two more were injured in the attack. The village was home to the provincial opposition leader, Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, the opposition leader had expressed concerns about being attacked by assailants supported by the chief minister.
