Incident Summary:

11/11/2012: An assailant threw a pipe bomb at the South Sulawesi governor while he was giving a speech in Makassar city, South Sulawesi province, Indonesia. The device, which failed to detonate, did not cause any injuries; however, the assailant was assaulted by the crowd. Two people were taken into custody; officials suspected they may be members of Jamaah Ansharut Tauhid (JAT).
