11/08/2012: A suicide bomber on a motorcycle detonated in Yarana market, Kandahar city, Kandahar province, Afghanistan. The bomber targeted a police checkpoint, killing three officers and injuring two more. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, the Taliban is believed to be involved.
